Ethel Interrupts

Many local folks are familiar with Ethel Hurst. She writes a local column for the Conway Daily Sun and the Bridgton News. Through this column, Ethel keeps everyone informed as to what is happening around town. She is allowing me to take some items from her weekly column and repost them here. This feature will appear intermittently and will be called "ETHEL INTERRUPTS"

Lovell Old Home Days is this weekend with evening activities on Friday at the Athletic Field, Saturday morning with the race, parade and community fun at the Athletic Field and the Annual Antique Sale and Auction at the Lovell Historical Society.

The Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library's annual meeting is Tuesday, July 20th at 7 pm. New board members are elected and local author David Morine will be the guest speaker. David will be discussing his most recent book "Two Coots in a Canoe".

Numerous nature walks are being sponsored by the Greater Lovell Land Trust. There are a variety of hikes designed for people of all abilities and with different interests.
