Saturday night, July 24, the Brick Church Concert Series continues with Idol Hands. A quartet of young musicians from NH's Lakes Region, they play fun music that keeps the heart beating and the foot keeping time. Great for all generations. The Red Brick Church doors open at 7 and tickets are available before the concert with refreshments available at intermission.

The next big event in town is the 25th anniversary of the Dave Mason-Greater Kezar Lake Tennis Tournament. The dates are Friday-Sunday, August 6, 7, and 8. Sponsored by the Stow Corner Store, the anticipated number of players is 64.

And let's not forget the "Fun in the Sun" summer fair that will take place on Thursday August 5 from 10 - 2 at the United Church of Christ. There will be something for everyone--gifts, flowers, the annual balsam fir pillows, treasures, Christmas boutique and baked goods. A tasty luncheon, a raffle of a vintage lap quilt and the first 50 people will receive a hand-painted shopping bag. Get there early for the bargains.

Can't wait to play with my dad, local Bob Williams, at the tennis tournament and spend some time at Birch Lodge on Kezar Lake!

I didn't know Bob played. My office is right across from the tennis courts and they have been very active the past few weeks. I play tennis sporadically and wouldn't have the nerve to sign-up for a tournament. Good luck. I understand that it is very competitive.
