Don't forget the Dan Moore concert at the Brick Church in the Village. Dan returns to the Brick Church to take everyone on a new musical journey--from Bach to Boogie on piano and harpsichord. Show time is 7:30 and tickets are available at the door.
This Sunday, August 8th, the Lovell Historical Society will hold "Lovell Classics--Cars, Boats and Clothes" at the Pleasant Point Inn at 5 pm. There will be intersting cars and boats for the gentlemen and vintage clothing modeled in the fashion show for the ladies. Plenty of hors d'oeuvres will be available as well as a cash bar. Proceeds from the afternoon go to the Historical Society.
Check the Greater Lovell Land Trust schedule for a variety of programs and nature walks over the next week. The presentation on Bald Eagles looks especially good.
This is the weekend for the Annual Dave Mason Tennis Tournament. Stop by and see the exciting action taking place on the courts behind the library. Always competitive, you will be sure to see the best tennis north of Flushing Meadow (home of the US Open).
