...Congratulations to Tommie C. McKenzie for being elected the new Lovell Fire Chief! Recently retired from the Conway Police Department, Tommie has a vast knowledge of emergency skills and will do a great job (it is so nice to once again see town info on the message board. And thanks to Mark Moulton for serving the past five years as Chief. Although he gave many hours of service to the town, he plans to remain an active member of the department...

...Two Ice Fishing Derbies this weekend. From 10 am to noon on Heald Pond is the Annual John McKeen Fishing Derby. The 2nd Annual Lovell Lions Club Fishing Derby takes place from 7 am to 2 pm and will be on both Kezar Lake and Keewaydin Lake!...

...Get ready for the Fourth Annual Lovell Winter Carnival on March 5th that is sponsored by the Lovell Recreation Department and the New Suncook PTA from 1 to 4 pm. Activities to take place include sledding, snowball toss, snowmobile rides, snowshoe games, cross-country ski games, an Easter egg hunt and much more. The event is for young and old and is designed to be a celebration of winter as we get closer to spring. The takes place at the New Suncook School.
