LOWER LEVEL GAME/TV ROOM.  Two elevated porches allow you to take in the view over a cup of coffee or watch the sunset with a glass of wine.  Sweetfern is located in the Westways association on the eastern shore of Kezar Lake, and guests have use of Westways facilities, including four docks, a small sandy beach and playground area (3-5 minute walk from the cottage), rec hall, tennis court, and ballfield.  For winter ski weekends and holidays, we are a short drive south to Shawnee Peak or north to Sunday River.

Sweetfern is perfect for families with children!  

 There is easy lake access (3 minute walk from the cottage) with a small sandy beach, playground area, and lots of space to run.  For older children, the abundance of activities available (swimming!  boating! tennis!  ping pong! bowling! s'mores! fort-building! hiking!) makes for an amazing week or two away.

We know how much extra work it is to pack for a family trip, so we provide a few extras that we hope will make your stay (and the the getting there and back)  a bit easier:

•  pack-n-play and travel high chair (attaches to a dining room chair)
• use of sports equipment and beach equipment
• paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, cleaning supplies (including laundry detergent), shampoo, and soap
• wood for fires in the fireplace or at the fire pit down at the lake
• an assortment of children's toys, games, and books 

• 3 bedrooms:  MBR has a king and narrow twin, 2nd bedroom (upstairs) has 2 twin xl beds (which may be put together to make a king bed) and 1 twin, downstairs bedroom has 1 queen.  In addition, we have a cot, a floor bed, and a pack-n-play, all suitable for extra beds for kids.
