Father's Day on Kezar Lake

Congrats to Fryeburg Academy's softball team. Although they lost in yesterday's Class B State Championship game 6-1 to Hermon, they finished with a strong 18-2 record. Just a great season after losing six seniors last year. And a big tip of the cap to pitcher Charlotte Lewis who had big shoes to fill and did a tremendous job.

Preparations for the Sixth Annual Lovell Old Home Days 5k Run are well under way. Another great tee shirt design by Fryeburg Academy art student Mary Rhymer. Race is at 9:45 am and is immediately followed by the parade. Finsih line is at the Lovell Athletic Field where there will be plenty of goodies, awards and random prizes. For more [...]
