Asked any local Realtor about 2013 business and you will receive similar answers. The year started robustly with a large number of land sales (relatively quiet for the past several years) and home purchases to first-time buyers. To me, both trends suggested confidence in the future and that folks felt their jobs were secure. Expectations were that summer would [...]

Four Cedars Antiques
One of Center Lovell's prettiest roads is Old Stage (aka 5A). No matter which direction you are heading, you always end up at Route 5. The southern end is anchored by the Historical Society with the Post Office and the former Dutton office at the opposite end. In addition to a wonderful variety of older farmhouses and new homes, a ride along Old Stage always provides stunning views of [...]

He also mentioned that some people had asked for photos so people can contact me and I would be happy to forward an individual [...]
I Scream, You Scream...

The Homestead Scoop Ice Cream shop, located on Route 5 across from the hardware store, has been taking shape over the past year. Beth and Steve Armington, along with an army of family, friends and contractors, built this good-looking shop with a wide porch that is the perfect spot to enjoy a cone or a [...]
