Veterans Day Ceremony
Lovell's 2011 Veterans Day Ceremony was well-attended. The service was led by Richard King with words by Dave Mason and Bruce Thurston. Taps were played by Fryeburg Academy junior Nicole Tischenor. The Ladies Auxiliary provided a delicious and free lunch for all at the VFW Hall.

Lovell Scarecrows
There will be lots of scary characters around town this Halloween weekend and may I suggest that you stop and admire the great-looking scarecrows that are hanging out on the front lawn of the New Suncook School. The PTA sponsored a Scarecrow Contest and the community was invited to participate. I think everyone did a great job!
