Perfect weather for senior citizens' day (I'm not eligible yet) at the Fryeburg Fair. Great exhibits, lots of tractors and other big pieces of equipment, animals, rides, crafts and food. Pie Tree Orchard
Although a May frost did do damage to many of the region's trees, this is still a good time to go out and pick your own apples. One of our favorite places is Pietree Orchard in Sweden where there are numerous varieties to choose from and if you don't feel like doing your own picking, the new farm stand has everything ready to go. Tennis Courts Update
We are getting closer and closer to the completion of the tennis courts. The exterior fencing is back up and the blacktop is now green. I'm no engineer but it looks like all that is needed now are the court stripes and the center nets. Looks like there will be plenty of time left before the snow arrives to play tennis.
