Bridgton and Harrison Road Races

Five Minutes To Race Time

Temps in the 80's didn't prevent a record number of finishers at Bridgton popular Four on the Fourth race. No course records were set but based on the smiles of the runners at the watermelon station, everyone enjoyed the run. A first-class event that raises an amazing amount every year for local charities with the Library being the primary beneficiary.

This Wednesday night is the Harrison 5k Road Race. Thanks to director Tammy Anderson, the race is back after a one-year absence. Starts and ends in downtown Harrison and is a great course. I'll be at the finish line helping out and looking forward to seeing everyone come through the chute. Fireworks later that evening as part of the town's Old Home Days celebration.
