This Sunday, September 26th, from 1-4 pm, the Lovell Historical Society presents the The Fall Harvest. All members of the family will enjoy this program that demonstrates the old-time fall harvesting practices in western Maine.
There will be the operation of a cider press, pumpkin painting for the children, a petting zoo, a tool exhibit, a bake sale plus refreshments. In addition, the museum will be open. The barn will be filled with traditional fiddle music played by Birds on a Wire.
Both the apples and pumpkins have been donated by Pietree Orchard of Sweden. The Fall Harvest is free and open to the public.
