No question it is cold outside (we go from mid-50's to mid-teens over the past few days) but Mother Nature has not been helping the ski slopes. Here's a picture of Shawnee Peak from the Moose Pond Causeway. They are working around the clock making snow and they are hoping to be open by this Friday. It does take a tremendous amount of water to make enough snow to cover the trails. Find out just how it is done
I myself prefer cross-country skiing and guess I will just have to wait until the real stuff comes down!
