The flower beds at 224 Main Street are in full bloom and helping to spruce up Lovell Village. Eric Gulbrandsen, a member of Lovell's Conservation Committee, has done a great job all year at the various public gardens, which are located at the Minuteman monument by the library, the Route 5/93 triangle and at the town office.

The Stow Corner Store is open! Ice Cream, Sandwiches, Pizza, Pastries, Bread and MORE! I treated myself to a House Italian sandwich that was filled with meat, cheese and toppings. Take a ride on your bike or in your car to the store. Introduce yourself to Maureen and wish her good luck.

Congratulations to Tammy Anderson and Paula Holt for their successful effort in returning the 5k run to Harrison after a one-year absence! Despite the draining heat, 85 runners registered and 76 runners finished. Lots of exhausted faces as the runners crossed the finish line and a lot of happy kids running with their parents. Temps in the 80's didn't prevent a record number of finishers at Bridgton popular Four on the Fourth race. No course records were set but based on the smiles of the runners at the watermelon station, everyone enjoyed the run.
