2011 Lovell Old Home Days T-Shirt Design

Congratulations to Kim Hurst for submitting the winning design for this year's Lovell Old Home Days 5k Run! As part of the competition, Fryeburg Academy art students are asked to incorporate the themes of Lovell and running into their artwork. Kim is a senior at the Academy, lives in Chatham, NH. and will be attending Wheaton College in Norton, MA. For drawing the winning design, Kim receives a $100 prize, as well as seeing her artwork on shirts around town! Steve Pullan, the Academy's art teacher, assisted the committee in making the selection.

This year's run is on July 16th at 9:45 am. Sign-up early as only the first 100 registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt. Registration is available online at runreg.com or Lovell5k.com.

The 5k run precedes the annual Old Home Days Parade and begins the day's festivities. Plan to come to Lovell that day to have a great time!
