Dave Johnson's Sweet Kids Corn is open and attracting buyers so it must be August. Located across from the Lake Kezar Country Club, the stand is stacked with corn and operates on the honor system. Whether you want one ear, 1/2 dozen, or several dozen, just leave your money in the metal box.
You can pull into the lot where there is plenty of room for turning around and parking. It looks like the corn crop has bounced back from a wet spring which is good because is there any thing better than a summer bbq at camp with a pile of corn on the cob?
With a nod to the old Burma Shave road signs (history & jingle archives), you won't be able to miss this Lovell tradition.
