Congratulations to Alison Upton as the winner of the 2014 Lovell Old Home Days 5k Run t-shirt design. Alison is a junior at Fryeburg Academy, lives in Lovell, enjoys graphic design, playing lacrosse and spending sunny days on Kezar Lake.
Every year, art teacher Steve Pullan conducts a competition where students are asked to incorporate the themes of Lovell and running. For creating the winning design, Alison receives a $100 prize, as well as seeing her artwork around town.
This year's run is on July 19th at 9:45 am. Only the first 100 registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt, so please sign-up early. Visit Lovell5k.com for more information, a registration form, photos and records.
The 5k run precedes the Old Home Days Parade and begins the day's festivities.
