Snow Scenes, Part Two

What a difference a few hours make! The sun is out, the temps are warm (high 20's) and thanks to Scott Gardiner, the best snow plower in Oxford County, the roads are clean. (Here's a great video history of snow plowing in Maine) It looks like we will have a stretch of good weather so let's get out and enjoy the snow. How about a cross-country at the golf course? Thanks to the Lovell Recreation Department, it is free.

Hi Stan, I just wanted to say these snow scene photos are great! They make me really miss Lovell and I was wondering if the 3rd photo down is West Lovell Rd....it sure looks like it! We've been inundated with snow here on the Cape and I must say I am looking forward to getting around a bit easier when the snow melts. I'd love to see any landscape scenes you have as I want to paint more of Lovell. Thanks again for such an enjoyable blog! Stay warm and best wishes, Melanie McGraw

Good memory Melanie! That is West Lovell Road. I believe that you may have received as much snow as we have!
