Congratulations to Finn Lane! Finn is the winner of the 2017 Lovell Old Home Days 5k Run t-shirt design contest. Finn has just finished her junior year at the Fryeburg Academy, lives in Brownfield and has a passion for drawing. Her future plans include studying art at a school out west with a goal of becoming a teacher.
Every year, art teacher Steve Pullan conducts a competition where students are asked to incorporate the themes of Lovell and running. For creating the winning design, Finn receives a $100 prize, a t-shirt and seeing her artwork around town.
This year’s run is on July 15th at 9:45 am. Only the first 100 registered runners are guaranteed a shirt, so please sign-up early. Visit Lovell5k.com for more information, a registration form, photos and records. Or sign-up online at Running4Free.com.
The 5k run precedes the Old Home Days Parade and begins the day’s festivities.
