Although a May frost did do damage to many of the region's trees, this is still a good time to go out and pick your own apples. We are getting closer and closer to the completion of the tennis courts. The exterior fencing is back up and the blacktop is now green. I'm no engineer but it looks like all that is needed now are the court stripes and the center nets. Looks like there will be plenty of time left before the snow arrives to play tennis.

This Sunday, September 26th, from 1-4 pm, the Lovell Historical Society presents the The Fall Harvest. All members of the family will enjoy this program that demonstrates the old-time fall harvesting practices in western Maine.
