An impressive 85 ballots were cast at today's Lovell's Chili Challenge. After paying their $6 entry fee, guests were able to enjoy 15 different chili recipes, plus a variety of chips, cornbread, cookies and ice cream. Roger will be honored for his many years of working on the library's Building Committee and his wonderful Magical Tree House contribution to the addition. Lovell's Veteran's Day Ceremony
It was a sunny day with a breeze at Lovell's Veteran's Day ceremony at the War Memorial. A very nice crowd of both young and old came. Joe Moody led the service, we sang America the Beautiful and Nicole Tichenor of Lovell played Taps beautifully. And Phyllis Chandler laid the wreath at the monument.
A good portion of the crowd went over to the VFW Hall for a delicious lunch. A big Thank You to all our [...]
