Although there were weeks of site preparation and the pouring of the new foundation and there is still plenty of finishing work to be done, the actual lifting and moving of the structure took a little more than a week. I must say, Mighty Impressive! And it won't be long before it will look like the house is in the original spot.

2014 Tour de Lovell

It is time to get your bikes ready! This Saturday is the 9th Annual Tour de Lovell. The race starts at 8 am at the New Suncook Elementary School on Route 5.
Two changes for 2014: The course has been extended from 20 miles to 21.3 and there will be rolling start. As always, there will be raffle prizes, t-shirts, food/refreshments, awards and fun.
The Tour de Lovell benefits the Lovell Recreation Department and the Lovell Volunteer Fire Department.
Remember, if you are not riding, please be careful of the bike riders!

Fox & Sons
Whenever I see a 'Fox & Sons' sign in a yard, it is always difficult for me not to stop and become a sidewalk superintendent. It is fascinating to see a built house lifted from its existing foundation and moved to another foundation without falling apart. Almost as delicate as [...]

Renee Dutton, a wonderful woman, passed away Monday June 2, 2014.
Renee's husband, Oliver, was an officer in the United States Air Force and they lived in many places while raising her family but she settled in Lovell in the early 1970's. She made a big impact on the town, not only as a business owner (Kezar Lake Handcrafters and Dutton Real [...]
Fly Away Farm

For many years, Ledge Hill Road saw a marked increase in traffic as people would make their way to Treehouse for all of their gardening needs. As you could expect, everyone wondered where to go?
To the rescue comes Fly Away Farm! The [...]
